Newark, New Jersey, 1852 founded by Charles Kirchoff. Kirchoff made small metal toys, noisemakers, Christmas ornaments and novelties and was essentially a developer of patents. In addition to toys Kirchoff produced braille printers and ticker-tape machines. Although no longer in business under the name Kirchoff, the company did undergo a lot of changes in ownership through out the years and was still recorded as being active up to the 1950s.
