MPC (Multiple Plastics Corporation, became in the 1970s Multiple Toymakers, a Division of Miner Industries) originally sold plastic figures in various colours with different separate accessories, so the same figures could be kitted out as soldiers (green), farmers, pioneers or cowboys (brown), policemen (blue), ski troopers (white) spacemen (various colours) or American Civil War soldiers in Blue and Grey.

MPC Ringhands

In the late1950s and early 1960s MPC produced 60mm soft plastic figures known as "ringhands" because their hands had holes to accommodate a variety of accessories. Each guy was about 2 5/8 inches tall. There were Indians, cowboys, Civil War and Revolutionary War soldiers, frontiersmen, African warriors, G.I.s, cops, space explorers, firemen, etc.
