One of the popular games in the seventies was MB's Stay Alive.
It is a game of hidden traps and survival and was actually tag-lined as the ultimate survival game.
The game is played by 2 to 4 players (ages 8 to 100) and the board is made up of sliders that could move forward and backward over a 7 by 7 grid.
Your soldiers, men or whatever, disguised as colored marbles sit on there chosen square and with a sliding of the orange or white levers, your soldier will either fall into the pithole or will keep afloat and 'Stay Alive'.
You win when all of your opponents marbles have fallen into the pit.
Stay Alive was originally published by Milton Bradley in 1971 and was recently republished.
