In the 1970s, one of the more popular series of diecast lines of toy planes was created and produced by Lintoy, Hong Kong. Production was later transferred to Singapore.

These Lintoy produced airplanes were soon distributed by Bachmann, Corgi Toys in the UK and Ertl in the United States, but the castings always had Lintoy printed on the bottom.
